Body Scan Recording and Mindfulness Videos

Body Scan

Click on the Body Scan icon, which is a 40-minute guided audio meditation from the program Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).  The Body Scan is a perfect way to bring mindfulness into your life. Noticing sensations in your body helps to bring you into the present. There are instructions at the beginning and throughout the scan. Make sure you give yourself time, and choose a quiet comfortable place to do the scan. You can do it lying down on the floor, couch or in bed, or sitting in a chair. Wear loose comfortable clothing and have a blanket near by if needed.  Do not do while driving or walking.

This video was produced at the University of Vermont Medical Center as part of a Victoria Buffum Endowed Fund grant in 2017. Mindfulness Tools for Living with Cancer is a 4-minute video that reflects how mindfulness has made a difference in the lives of cancer patients with input from patients and healthcare providers
