Welcome, I invite you to explore Mindfulness Practices with me. Roz

A meditation practitioner for twenty-five years, I am a certified teacher of the world-renowned Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program started by Jon Kabat-Zinn PhD.

Most of us want less stress and more happiness in our lives.

The benefits of mindfulness allows us to find ways to reduce stress and improve our quality of life.

Through my business, Mindful Stress Relief, I offer classes, workshops, retreats, presentations, consultations, and guided mindfulness recordings.

A Brief History of Mindful Stress Relief

In 2010, I created Mindfulness Tools for Health and Wellness (MT), a program offered through the University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) Cancer Center.  MT continues to offer the 8-week MBSR program, weekly drop-in classes, a monthly support group, Friends for Life, and topic-specific workshops  for the UVMMC cancer community. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, all classes have been offered live online.

I semi-retired to Florida in February 2019 and have taught classes online with the MT program for the past two years during the pandemic.  I will be teaching a Self-Compassion workshop with the Mindfulness Tools program in September 2022. Watch for information.  I enjoy volunteering at Loggerhead Marinelife (marinelife.org) that rescues and rehabilitates sea turtles. During the pandemic, I began raising monarch butterflies on my patio. I enjoy swimming, gardening, writing, and playing pickleball.

Whether you are dealing with everyday stressors in life,  have sleep issues, experiencing illness or are facing a difficult life challenge, mindfulness practice may be beneficial.
